DESCRIPTION:A group of faithful Catholics\, concerned with the redemption of those being executed\, gather via Zoom on the day of every execution carried out in the United States. We pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet\,starting 3:00 or 3:30\, for the souls of the executed and for the souls of their victims. DESCRIPTION:Joining with long-time activists outside Central Prison\, this year’s 20th annual World Day Against the Death Penalty was supported by close to two dozen CANC members! As always\, we received many waves\, thumbs up\, and horns honking from those driving by – affirming that countless North Carolinians would like to see an end to the death penalty. These affirmations also spur on those of us working to abolish capital punishment in our beautiful state and around our nation.
