We will include the soul of his victim\, Katherine Jean Jenkins\, in our prayers as well. \n\n\n\nWe will pray too for the soul of Jeremy Williams\, who will be executed in Alabama on this day. We will offer the Chaplet for the soul of his victim\, Kamarie Holland. \n\n\n\nOur prayers will also be offered for Carlos Cuesta-Rodriguez\, who will be executed in Oklahoma on this day. The Chaplet will be offered for the soul of his victim\, Olimpia Fisher\, too. \n\n\n\nYou may request the Zoom link through our website’s Contact Page. Please pray for Americans to come to see the cruelty and uselessness of punishment by death. Pray especially for the governors and attorney generals of the 27 states where capital punishment remains a legal option. Change has to happen through our elected officials in order to stop this culture of death.

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Annual WDADP falls on a Saturday\, so we’re changing our protest time and focus. Meet us outside Central Prison\, starting at 10:30AM till 11:30AM. For those interested\, a group will gather to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the souls of the men executed at Central Prison\, since 1984 up to 2006. We will read each of the 43 names. \n\n\n\nBring a homemade sign or you can borrow one of ours! This is a family-friendly event. Parking is available at Dix Park. To enter\, turn onto Hunt Drive\, directly across from Central Prison at the traffic light. There’s a crosswalk\, but it has a quick timer. For those who may struggle getting across Western Blvd\, you can park along the streets within Boylan Heights\, the neighborhood just past the prison. \n\n\n\nFor questions or more information: director@catholicsforabolitionnc.org If you would like to RSVP that you’ll be attending (only please)\, feel free to do so.
