Clemency Granted to Charles “Sonny” Burton (AL) | Chaplet has been Cancelled!

CANC Members and Friends will come together, at 7:00PM, via Zoom to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the soul of Charles “Sonny” Burton who is scheduled to be executed in Alabama on this day. We will also pray for the soul who lost his life, Mr. Doug Battle. Mr. Battle did not die by the hand of Charles Burton but by his codefendent whose sentence was overturned, and he later received life without parole.
You may request the Zoom link through our website’s Contact Page. The prayers of the Chaplet will be attached to that email. If Alabama’s Governor Ivey offers clemency and saves the life of Mr. Burton, we will not convene. There will be a notation of the clemency on this Event Page.
